NSW:Man faces 20-year-old child sex charges
SYDNEY, Dec 9 AAP - A suspected pedophile is appearing in court on Thursday charged
with a string of child sex attacks in Sydney dating back 20 years.
The 62-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday by detectives who were investigating
a number of alleged sexual assaults against a teenage boy.
It will be claimed that between 1989 and 1991, the boy was sexually assaulted by his
sports coach on a number of occasions at a home in Chester Hill, police said.
The boy was aged between 13 and 15 at the time of the alleged incidents.
The man was taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with seven child
sexual assault offences.
He was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court.
