NSW: Teens charged over fatal stabbing at Sydney train station
A teenager has been charged with murdering a 54-year-old man in a stabbing attack on
a Sydney street.
Another teenager .. among a number of youths linked to the attack .. has also been
charged with affray and concealing a serious offence.
Police say cable fitter EDWARD SPOWART was killed with a knife on a Granville street
in Sydney's west early yesterday morning.
Less than 12 hours later .. detectives arrested a 17-year-old Doonside youth and a
16-year-old boy from Wentworthville.
The 17-year-old was charged today with murdering Mr SPOWART.
The younger boy was charged with affray and concealing a serious offence.
They've been refused bail and are expected to face Parramatta Childrens Court.
