NSW: Women yelled 'I love you' before death plunge: inquest told
A coronial inquest has heard how a woman .. who jumped naked from a Sydney office building
.. was heard yelling "I love you" before she plunged to her death.
34 year-old REBEKAH LAWRENCE jumped from Sydney's Macquarie Street Tower in December 2005.
The NSW Coroners Court has today heard the usually cheerful and good-natured woman
arrived late for work on the day of her death after attending a self-development course
called .. Turning Point.
But her colleague from the Royal Australian College of Physicians CHRISTINE ERNST has
told the court she later became agitated as she repeatedly tried to phone someone but
was unable to get through.
Meanwhile fellow colleague FAIRLE CLIFTON says Ms LAWRENCE seemed quite unstable that day.
Ms CLIFTON says she heard her swearing and then say I love you before she backed out
onto a window ledge of the tower.
